The four tires made of rubber are ideal for pavements and urban terrain. However, they are not designed for off-roading. They had trouble with gravel and long grass and there was not enough clearance between the wheel bracket and wheel which meant that mud could get stuck easily. Our tester loved this buggy, and it was able to climb some pretty hillocks that were muddy.

Our test participants found that the Nipper Double was incredibly easy to manoeuvre, even when walking off on uneven ground or turning quickly in the middle of a busy street. The feature that the seats can be reclined independently was hugely appreciated.
The hoods were also easy to adjust for wind or sun protection. They didn't provide the same coverage as Baby Jogger City Mini Hoods. It's worth having an extra rain cover inside the case.
Overall, our test participants loved the way that Nipper Double let them to take their twin girls Sydney and Lyla to all sorts of adventures, from spotting wildlife in the woods to running to the park for a playdate. They were also awed by how comfortable and spacious the two seats are with plenty of room for toddlers growing to play in. The absence of parent-facing seating and the inability to use car seats in this buggy were cited as a problem by our testers. They would have preferred a larger storage space for shopping and other gear.
