Lightest Double Stroller
If you're looking for a light double stroller, weight and folded size are key factors to take into consideration. Selecting a stroller that is easy to handle and compact when not when not in use makes it much easier to place into the trunk of your car and navigate through airport gates and streets.
The best lightweight strollers feature an easy, light fold and self-standing mechanism to lessen the burden on parents' bodies. Several also have a wide variety of seating options and can accommodate infant car seat carriers.
Kolcraft Cloud Plus
The design is geared towards families that are on the move. Lightweight and easy to carry in one hand compact fold. The all-terrain wheels and front suspension as well as the multi-position reclining seat, allow for children to weigh up 50 pounds. The trays for parents and children, large storage basket, and 3-tiered extended canopy with windows that peek out at the sun provide maximum protection.
The Cloud received one of the lowest marks in our quality tests due to the fact that it has a weak seat made of hard plastic and a design which is dated. It's also more expensive than other strollers that are lighter. This makes it a poor choice for those looking for a budget option.
Although it's not the tiniest double stroller, it comes with enough features that are worth considering. Its swiveling wheels make it easy to maneuver it on flat surfaces. It can also jump curbs without much effort. The Cloud's low, almost knee-high handle has a disadvantage. It's not adjustable, and it's not adjustable. It's not comfortable to push your legs hanging in the air like that and it's also not helping that it's not cushioned.
During our testing, we discovered the Cloud to be simple to open and set up. It's a little more challenging to close, however; you have to slide a slider before you press a large white button for it to collapse. double single pushchair can be quite a hassle especially if you're juggling kids while doing it.
The Cloud comes with a small but spacious storage basket. It's large enough to accommodate a large diaper bag. It's a little narrow, though, and you'll likely have to put something in it for the back to retrieve it. The Cloud has two tray for parents and children with two cup holders each however both are too narrow to accommodate larger cups or bottles.
The Kolcraft brand has been in existence since 1946, and is a third-generation family-owned business. The first products they made were crib pads and diapers and now they manufacture various baby products like highchairs and infant car seats, strollers and toys. The company is located in Chicago and is an American manufacturer.
Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS
Jeep Destination Ultralight is a lightweight double stroller with a minimalist design, which is perfect for traveling. It's super light at just 18 lbs (lighter than some single strollers!) and folds flat for easy transport and storage. It also comes with independently reclined seats as well as large SPF 50 sunvisors with peekaboo window. The visors are adjustable to accommodate kids of different heights. It also comes with a one-step linked parking brake and is Disney-sized approved.
Jeep's swivel wheel system is also great for navigating over bumps and uneven terrain. However, this stroller doesn't accept car seats, so your little ones must be at least six months old and have a solid neck control to ride in the front seat. It does have an attractive, three-panel sun canopy, however, and each seat has its own snack tray, as well as cup holders for parents.
Another stroller that is extremely light is the Valco Baby Snap Duo Trend. It's a little heavier than the Kolcraft Cloud Plus at 23 pounds, but it's narrow and slim (26.5 inches wide!) It has a lot of luxurious details that make it ideal for travel. It has a super simple fold, is very maneuverable and can be tucked away in the overhead compartments of airplanes and trunks easily.
Similar to the Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ Double and Mountain Buggy Nano Duo, the Joovy Kooper X2 is another tri-fold ultralight double stroller. It's pretty comparable to the Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS, however, it does have a few key distinctions. It's a little more expensive, but offers a more shady sun canopy and better maneuverability. It comes with a convenient carrying strap and can accommodate kids weighing up to 44 pounds for each seat.
Summer 3D Pac CS+ for infants
If you're looking for a stroller that's lightweight but also loaded with features look no further than Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+. It's not just lightweight at just 13 lbs but also has plenty of storage space, including child and parent cupholders and a sippy-cup bag for the child as well as a pocket for storage for parents and so on. The stroller is also compatible with a child's car seat and features a flip-flop-friendly brake that is easy to engage. It's designed to evolve with your kids from a baby stroller to a toddler stroller simply by attaching the car seat adapters (sold separately) and is suitable for children 6 months old and up.
Another thing to consider about this stroller is that it runs on swivel wheels and doesn't have locking capabilities therefore it may not be the best option for rocky or sloping terrain. It's still a great option for families of all sizes, since it is able to be easily maneuvered on paved surfaces and other smooth surfaces.
This is among the most compact and lightweight double strollers with full-size features. It folds with one hand and stored in the garage or trunk. It can be used as a travel stoller and is compatible without additional adapters for most car seats.
Unlike most lightweight travel strollers unlike other strollers that are lightweight, the Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ features two seats and can hold up to 50 lbs. per seat (100 lbs total). The seats have individual leg rests, as well as three-panel canopies that include an open-top sunvisor and a peekaboo window.
The seats are padded for your infant's comfort. They come with a five-point padded safety harness that adjusts to three height positions. Each seat has an infant cushion that is perfect for infants. The cup holders for parent and child, the cell phone holders and the big storage basket will be appreciated by parents. The stroller comes with the Yoyo+ Board which transforms it into a tandem.
Joovy X2 Kooper
The Kooper X2 double stroller is a great choice for parents who want a light double stroller that can accommodate two children. The sling-style seats are comfortable and they offer the same amount of headroom as other double strollers. This allows kids to sit together. Contrary to other strollers with side-by-side seating that are available, the Kooper X2 offers a fully reclined seat that's a great option for napping. Its recline mechanism is simple to operate but it isn't genuinely flat; taller kids may find that they have a leg that hangs out of the way when sitting in a reclined position. It also features a large canopy that we found to be superior at blocking out the sun than other strollers in our top double strollers review.
The stroller is light enough to to maneuver through door frames. This was a major issue with other strollers we have tested. It folds easily and the handlebars sit close to the ground. Its only drawback is its limited storage space. When full of toys for kids it feels squeezed.

double buggy is a family-owned company, creates innovative, functional and high-quality baby products. Their product line includes innovative baby bottles, such as the Joovy Zoom X2 Double stroller and an innovative raincover that fits an array of popular strollers. The products are affordable and often come with fun designs that appeal to kids.
In our lab tests of double strollers, we look at multiple factors to determine how simple a model is to use, including how simple it is to fold and set up, adjust the safety harness, close and open the brakes, lift and carry the stroller as if placing it into a car trunk, and then install and remove the infant car seat (if appropriate). We also evaluated the durability and strength of the stroller and also whether each model has a tray for parents that can accommodate both child trays.
The Joovy Kooper X2 received the highest score in our Strollers Test Program due to its ease of use. It also received the top score in our updated guide to the best double strollers. Its user-friendly design features one-hand recline that is tilt-free and a canopy that rotates forward for shade, a ventilation mesh that is visible when it's tilted. There are also individual kid trays with built-in cup holders, zip-up parent pockets, and an extra-large storage basket.
